Power production should be increased for prosperous Nepal: Chair Ghising

Saptari, Feb 6: Chairperson of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kul Man Ghising, has shared that power production should be increased to make country a prosperous.     

At a news conference organised by the party at Rajbiraj today, he stressed the need of making the country self-dependent on electricity and development of agriculture sector for economic prosperity.     

Chairperson Ghising mentioned his experience could be used in overall economic transformation of the country, adding the country could make income from electricity by producing 30,000 mw electricity within 10 years.     

"The country will become self-dependent and a situation can be created where all Nepali people can get free electricity facility. Sustainable development is not possible without becoming self-reliant on basic sectors-- agriculture, drinking water, employment and energy. Our party is clear on it," he underlined.     

Stating that his party is moving ahead keeping people's expectations and necessities in centre, Chair Ghising argued that they would move ahead keeping good governance, transparency and development in priority.(RSS)
