Vote for peace: PM Karki
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 3: Prime
Minister Sushila Karki has urged all to vote this time for peace.
PM Karki expressed her views while interacting with the locals, techers
and guardians as she reached Hattikhor of Nawalpur to address graduation
ceremony of National Cadet Corps (NCC) senior division training.
"This election is not regular one, but a special one. You all,
please, vote for peace. We all have to cross this step. Defeat or win of an individual
is a secondary matter. First, we have to ensure the victory of the country.
This is time for us all to get together and make a resolution for peace and
transformation in the country. If there is peace and good governance in the country,
even those who are complaining for not getting their due turn will get
one," said PM Karki while talking with the local people, according to the
PM's secretariat.
The PM held the interaction after the formal ceremony of the
convocation.
PM Karki also took stock of preparations for election and security
situation from chief election officer, chief district officer and other
security officials.
On the occasion she instructed the officers to do everything possible for
holding the election slated for March 5 in a peaceful and fair manner.
