Kathmandu, Jan 1: The government has formed a panel to hold talks with Dr Nikolas Bhusal, a doctor who is staging a hunger strike in Kathmandu.
Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Ajay Bhadra Khanal will lead the government talks team to hold dialogue with Dr Bhusal.
The other members in the government talks team are Prime Minister's Public Relations Advisor Govinda Narayan Timilsina, Joint Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Dr Bhisma Kumar Bhusal and Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Ishwarraj Poudel.
Dr Bhusal is on a hunger strike for the past few days by putting forth the demands to probe the individuals on corruption charges and to initiate actions against them, take action against the perpetrators of the Gen-Z Movement, scrap the National Assembly and province level government by amending the constitution and to manage the directly-elected prime ministerial system.
After some health complications, Dr Bhusal is receiving treatment in Bir Hospital from Wednesday.(RSS)
