NPL: Lumbini beat Kathmandu by 4 wickets

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 10: Lumbini Lions beat Kathmandu Gorkhas by 4 wickets in Nepal Premier League (NPL) match in the eliminator round played in Kirtipur today.

Santosh Yadav hit 23 runs in 17 balls, Mohammad Aadil Alam hit 18 runs in 11 balls, John Simpson hit 18 runs in 17 balls and Bhim Sharki hit 16 runs in 16 balls to put 111 runs in the score board of Kathmandu Gorkhas in 19.1 overs.

Santosh Yadav took 2 wickets, karan KC, Sunney Patel, Shahab Alam and Rashid Khand took one wicket each for Kathmandu Gorkhas

For Lumbini Lions, D'Arcy  Short hit 33 runs in 34 balls, Sundeep Jora hit 23 runs in 23 balls, captain Rohit Paudel hit 18 runs in 25 balls and Niroshan Dickwella hit 14 runs in 14 balls to chase 112 target set out by Kathmandu Gorkhas in 17.4 overs. 

Sher Malla took 3 wickets, Rohit Paudel took 3 wickets and Ruben Trumpelmann took 2 wicket for Lumbini Lions.

Sher Mall was awarded player of the match for taking 3 wickets for Lumbini Lions.
