Two cement factories pay first instalment of electricity tariff

By Liladhar Oli, Ghorahi, Nov 12: Two cement factories of the Dang district - Sonapur Mineral and Oil Pvt located at Tulsipur sub-metropolitican-18, Dudhrasama and Ghorahi Cement industry of Ghorahi sub-metropolitican-4, Gogli of Dang, - have paid their first instalment of dues of electricity tariff. 

Engineer of Nepal Electricity Authority, Ghorahi, Nandalal Sharma, informed that the electricity line has been reconnected after they paid dues of electricity premium tariff for consuming it during the load shedding period some seven years ago through dedicated and trunk line.

The Sonapur Mineral paid Rs 8.6 million as first of its premium tariff dues for the power supplied through dedicated and trunk line from January 2016 to May 2018. It owes Rs. 242.9 million in total to the NEA. 

Ghorahi Cement industry in its first instalment paid electric tariff of Rs. 18.16 million. It owes Rs. 508.5 million as tariff to the NEA.

The electricity lines have been reconnected to the both industries.
