Discussion on election preparation in Humla

Humla, Nov 11: The District Election Office, Humla has held an all-side meeting on voting centres for the upcoming March 5 election to the House of Representatives (HoR). 

Updating voters' list, voting centre and electoral process were discussed during the meeting organized by the district office on Monday. Even the security situation was taken into account.

The meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief District Officer Tek Kumar Regmi was attended by chairs of all local levels, chiefs and representatives of all political parties, ward members and other concerned stakeholders. Officiating Chief at Election Office, Bhim Bahadur Rokaya, informed that updated list of the eligible voters would be received by November 17. 

The meeting decided to extend support and coordination from all sides to hold the March 5 HoR election in a free and fair atmosphere. (RSS)
