Minister Gautam vows solving problems related to health insurance

Bhaktapur, Nov 11: Minister for Health and Population, Dr Sudha Gautam, has vowed resolving the problems surfaced on health insurance. 

Inaugurating the 31st anniversary celebration of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital and its laboratory building amidst a programme here Monday, Minister Gautam reminded that constitution had ensured right to health for free of cost to citizen, so the government was devoted to materializing it. 

The local governments need providing the medicines from the basic hospitals, health posts and the health institutions for free of cost, she said, adding that the federal government has managed conditional grant for it.

On a different note, Minister Gautam said government was engrossed on holding the election to the House of Representatives as per the mandate it has got. Its major responsibility is to hold the March 5 election in a free and fair atmosphere at any cost, she added.

However, the Minister sought cooperation from all sides to convince the voters for the election.

Other speakers in the progamme underlined the need for making service further effective from the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital. (RSS)
