One dead, one injured at Bardiya road accident

By Yagya Prasad Sapkota, Gulariya (Bardiya), Nov.8: One died and one other sustained injuries when a motorcycle met with an accident in the Bardiya district. 

The deceased has been identified as Bikash Yadav, a 30-year-old from Gulariya Rural Municipality-7, Gulariya District. He was a pillion passenger. 

Similarly, 36-year-old motorcyclist Ramdal Soni has been injured.

Police said that a motorcycle (Lu.Pr. 03001 Pa 4157) en route to Gulariya lost control and crashed at Jogipur, Rajapur Municipality-10, along the postal road at around 11 PM.

Both were taken to the Primary Health Center, Rajapur, immediately after the accident.

Yadav was taken to Bardiya Hospital, Gulariy, for further treatment, but doctors declared him dead during treatment.

"The injured motorcyclist Soni has been taken to Nepalgunj for further treatment," said Devendra Kumar Malla, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Bardiya. 

The body of the deceased is at the Bardiya Hospital, Gulariya.
