PM Karki calls for new generations to make voter ID card for franchise right

Kathmandu, Nov 7: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called for the new generation to get enrolled in the voter registrations and utilize their vote of conscience in upcoming elections.     

In her video message today, Prime Minster Karki reminded the young generations of the need for official registration in the voter roll for best utilizing their conscience as a citizen.     

It may be noted that the Election Commission has been updating the voter name lists nationwide for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections announced for upcoming March 5.     

"In order to translate the dream of Gen Z youths and overall Nepali for building real Nepal, first we all should make the voter identity card. Then, we are eligible to rightly utilize our franchise right to elect proper representatives".     

The PM further said, "You should opt to be the rightful representatives on your own. Every bona fide citizens should cautiously utilize their vote to fight against the current disorder and move together for the country's development. Let us make the voter ID card from the nearby election office to allow us to use our franchise right".(RSS)
