Unsettling Nepali society not possible: Chair Oli

blog

Kathmandu, Nov 6: Chairperson of the CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, has laid emphasis on the need of lifting country out of the attempts intended to unsettle the society and human values. Country needs progress not disruption, he reminded.

Addressing the leaders and cadres gathered at his Gundu-based residence on Thursday, Chairperson Oli claimed that some elements were trying to frustrate the national ambition of 'Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepalis' forwarded by UML-led government.

He commented that the trend of launching protest by conducting unruly and violent activities was against the Nepali trend of respectfully expressing dissatisfaction.

On a different note, the former Prime Minister commented that government's move of calling back Nepali ambassadors from different countries against interim order of the Supreme Court has defamed the court.

On the occasion, Oli released a collection of songs written by Ramesh Lama.(RSS)
