President Paudel returns home concluding visit to Qatar

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 6: President Ramchandra Paudel returned home from Qatar after participating in the second World Summit for Social Development.

Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) today afternoon, President Paudel was received by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki and ministers and other high ranking officials. 

President Paudel was in Qatar to addressing the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar.

Addressing the Summit on Tuesday, President Paudel emphasized that developing countries need not only resources but also technological know-how. "We need enhanced level of support grounded in solidarity, fairness, and shared responsibility.”
