Reliance Spinning Mills pays first tranche of tariff dues

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 6: The Reliance Spinning Mills located at Sunsari paid on Thursday the first of its premium dues of electricity used through the dedicated and trunk line.

The Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Manoj Silwal informed that electricity line has been reinstalled at the Mills which was disconnected earlier.

The Reliance paid first installment of the dues of electricity tariff which it had kept pending despite using dedicated and trunk line from for three years over a decade ago, from 2015 to 2018.

The Reliance has dues to pay to NEA, an amount of Rs. 753.7 Million. The Reliance has been given facility to pay dues in 28 instalments, so today it paid Rs. 27.7 million.
