President Paudel leaves for home from Qatar

Kathmandu, Nov 6: President Ramchandra Paudel left for home today from Doha, the capital of Qatar. He had traveled to Qatar to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, which began on Tuesday.

Nepal’s Ambassador to Qatar, Rameshchandra Paudel, along with senior officials from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepali Embassy in Qatar, saw the President off at Hamad International Airport.

President Paudel had reached in Doha on Monday, leading a Nepali delegation at the invitation of Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

President Paudel held a courtesy meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday. He also visited the Qatar National Museum located there on Wednesday. (RSS)
