Kathmandu, Oct 25: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has urged the groups waging street agitations to hold dialogue with government. Talking to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) after a meeting with security chiefs today, the Home Minister made it clear that government was always ready for dialogue and discussion to sort out problems.
A high level security meeting was held in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki at her official residence, Baluwatar today.
"Government addresses the political demand, so dialogue is imperative. There is no need of taking to street. It is essential to be aware of others' right while exercising one's own rights," he reminded. The Minister urged all concerned not to involve in damages of public and private property. Government requests the political forces and agitating groups not to wage violent activities, Aryal informed.
According to him, the security meeting made meticulous assessment of present security situation of the country. "Government is committed to creating atmosphere conducive to the March 5 election with the normalization of security," the Minister vowed. (RSS)
