UML Secretariat meeting put off

Kathmandu, Oct 11: Today's session of the CPN (UML) Secretariat meeting was postponed to 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, due to the illness of party Chair KP Sharma Oli.     

UML Central Office Secretary Dr Bhishma Adhikari confirmed the postponement, citing Oli's health condition. Sunday's session will also take place at Oli's residence in Gundu.     

Members who did not get the opportunity to share their views during Friday's session are expected to do so in tomorrow's meeting. Deputy General Secretaries Prithvi Subba Gurung and Bishnu Rimal, along with Secretaries Yogesh Bhattarai, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Padma Aryal, Gokarna Bista, Raghuji Mahaseth, and Lekhraj Bhatta, are scheduled to express their opinions on the latest political developments.     

The party is also scheduled to hold its Central Committee meeting over three days, beginning on October 15.(RSS)
