PM Oli directs to make intensive preparations for 10th National Games

Kathmandu, July 28: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council to make efficient and effective preparations to host the 10th National Games by December.

During the discussion held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli directed to make grand preparations be made for the national games on the eve of the Asian Games to be held in Japan in 2026, as the national competition is a matter of the country's pride.

He also urged that the date and venue of the competition be decided after careful study, and not to change it once decided. 

He also emphasized the need for proper coordination between Prime Minister Oli, who is also the patron of the council, and the leadership of the ministry and the council.
