Leopard sightings trigger panic in Ilam village

By Kokila Dhakal, Ilam, July 26: The frequent sighting of leopards has increased the fear of local people of Maijogmai Rural Municipality's northern east region of Ilam.
Locals have said that fear has increased among people after a leopard entered the locals' goat shed and killed goats over the past month.
Last night too, a leopard entered the goat shed of Sher Bahadur Gurung of Lose, Maijogmai-2 and killed a nanny goat.
Local Veterinary technician Rabin Gurung informed that a few days ago, a leopard ate three goats in a shed in Lose.
