PM takes stock of drought-hit Terai-Madhes

Mahottari, July 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli took stock of the drought-hit areas of the Terai-Madhes today.
The meeting of the Government of Nepal (Council of Ministers) that was held on July 23 decided to declare the entire Madhes province as a disaster-hit area for three months.
Prime Minister Oli had earlier discussed with the concerned ministers, provincial governments, and high-ranking officials how to resolve the problem after the paddy plantation was hit due to the lack of rain during the rainy season.
Similarly, PM Oli is also scheduled to participate in programs in Mahottari and Bara.
