Proposals passed in HoR meeting

Kathmandu, July 24: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting held on Thursday unanimously approved a proposal presented at the HoR seeking consideration on the Bill to amend the Human Trafficking and Smuggling (Control) (First Amendment), 2081.     

Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Nabalkishor Sah Sudi presented the proposal at the HoR meeting.     

Responding to the queries raised by the lawmakers on the Bill, Minister Sudi assured the lawmakers to move ahead by incorporating their feedback too. Several lawmakers took part in the theoretical aspects of the Bill.     

Likewise, the HoR unanimously approved a proposal from Minister for Land Reforms, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Balaram Adhikari to send Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to land, 2082 to the concerned committee for the clause-wise discussions.     

The next meeting of the HoR is summoned for 1:00 pm on coming Friday.(RSS)
