Govt priority is to create employment opportunity for youths within the country: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government priority is to create employment opportunity for youth within the country.

Responding to the queries raised by lawmakers today in the meeing of the House of Representatives PM emphasized for creating opportunity in productive sector to the youths who are returned from foreign employment with capital, possessing skills and experience. 

Responding to the queries of lawmakers PM said that the government has declared 2082 B.S to 2092 B.S as Internal Employment Promotion Decade. 

He viewed that employment opportunity will be created in the agriculture, industry, tourism, energy and infrastructure development as the private sector has been increasing investment in these sectors along with the government.  

He said that the government has adopted the policy for restructuring the Prime Minister Employment Programme as National Employment Promotion Programme and making it more skillful and employment creative.  

PM said, “The government has been conducting the reintegration and industrialization promotion program  in 20 municipalities of Koshi and Madhesh Province targeting youths who have returned from foreign employment. The programmes have been started for startup, development of entrepreneurship through innovative program targeting Gen-Z”.
