Gandaki province Chief Minister Pandey leaves for China visit

Gandaki, July 22: Chief Minister of the Gandaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey has has left for neighboring China today for a week-long visit.

The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers stated that Chief Minister Pandey is leading a five-member visiting delegation to participate in a program organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal-China diplomatic relations.

Chief Minister Pandey has assigned the responsibility of acting Chief Minister in his absence to Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives Padma GC Shrestha.He was seen off by ministers and high-ranking officials of the provincial government at Pokhara International Airport. 

CM is scheduled to return to Nepal on July 28.
