23 injured in Kavre bus accident

By Kedar Timalsina, Banepa, July 19: As many as 23 people have sustained injuries when a passenger bus met with an accident at Pauwa, Bhumlu- Rural Municipality-8, Kavrepalanchok district.

According to the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchok Bus (Ba 3 Kha 8408) en route from Dorkhani of Ramechaap to Kathmandu crashed into the roadside wall after the brakes failed, causing an accident. 

Of the 32 onboard passengers, 23 have suffered injuries. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office Bin Bahadur Ghale said that the identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained, and the injured have been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment. 

He said that the bus that caused the accident is at the scene and the bus driver is under the control of the Dolalghat police station.
