Python rescued and sent to Chitwan National Park

By Purushottam Subedi, Nawalparasi (West), July 15: A python has been rescued in Gurash Tole, Bardaghat Municipality-5, Nawalparasi (West).

The python, which was found in the chicken shed of a local Shiromani Adhikari, was rescued by wildlife rescuer and Bardaghat resident Durga Lamichhane.

Rescuer Lamichhane said that the python, weighing about 8 kg and 10 feet long, will be sent to Chitwan National Park today.

Since the start of this year's summer, three pythons have been rescued from the area around Bardaghat Municipality.
