Woman dies of electrocution while removing mobile from its charger

By Raj Kumar Bhattarai, Khotang, July 15: A woman in Khotang died after being electrocuted while removing her mobile phone from its charger.

According to the District Police Office, Khotang, 25-year-old Indra Rai of Phaktang, Barahapokhari Rural Municipality -4, Khotang, died of electrocution while removing her mobile phone from its charger.

Wife of Rajan Rai, Indra, got electrocuted on Monday night at around 9:30 PM while trying to disconnect her mobile phone from the charger.

"Indra died on the spot," said Shushant Mishra, Police Inspector and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Khotang.

Police Inspector Mishra said that police have been deployed from the district to collect the incident report.

 Police said that since the incident site is far away, the postmortem of the body is likely to be done only on Wednesday,.
