Five members of same family falls ill after eating poisonous mushrooms in Kanchanpur

By Bhawani Datta Bhatta, Kanchanpur, July 15: Five members of the same family have fallen ill after eating poisonous mushrooms in Kanchanpur.

Five members of the same family fell ill after eating poisonous mushrooms brought from the Bhatko Nangra forest in Kalagad Tole, Dodhara Chandani Municipality -6 of the district.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 63-year-old Kalu Sunar, his granddaughters Nisha Sunar, aged 18, Mansu Sunar, eight years old, and grandsons Bhim Sunar, aged 16, and Basanta Sunar, aged 12, fell ill after eating mushrooms brought from the forest.

Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Sagar Bohara said that they are undergoing treatment at Dodhara Chandani Hospital on Monday. 

"Their condition is normal, " Bohara said.
