Kathmandu, July 13: The proposal seeking consideration on amendments made by the National Assembly on the bill to amend some Nepal's laws has been unanimously approved by the House of Representatives. Speaker Devaraj Ghimire announced the approval of the proposal.
The proposal, presented by Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, was discussed by MPs Rajendra Bajgain, Rajendra Kumar KC, Mahesh Kumar Bartuala, Ranju Kmari Jha, Ramkrishna Yadav, Purna Bahadur Gharti, Bimala Subedi, and Prem Suwal.
Minister Chaurasiya expressed the expectation that the provisions made in the bill proposal would help correct the technical errors in the existing laws, as well as fulfill the state's objectives of sustainable and balanced development, ensuring good governance, environmental protection, and maintaining citizen-friendly governance.
The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on Monday at 1:00pm.(RSS)
