By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 9: Shooting of Saroj Paudel’s new film Koshedhunga has been completed.
Paudel, the acclaimed director of the all-time blockbuster Purna Bahadurko Sarangi, wrapped up the shoot on Monday after 51 days.
The shooting concluded in 51 days with song sequences shot in Chitlang and Markhu of Makwanpur.
Major portions of Koshedhunga were also shot in Adhikhola, Triveni, and Sirubari areas of Syangja in Gandaki Province.
The film will be released on August 28 and will be released simultaneously in over 40 countries, including Nepal.
The film will be distributed internationally by Seven Seas International, led by Patrick Subedi and Ramesh Dhakal.
Koshedhunga is reportedly the first Nepali film in history to be released in over 40 countries simultaneously, marking a milestone for the Nepali film industry on the global stage.
Executive producer Dinesh Khadka said that Koshedhunga would meet the high expectations of movie-goers. He expressed confidence that, like Purna Bahadurko Sarangi, this film would be equally well-received.
He added that the effort put into the story and cinematography ensures that viewers will not be disappointed.
Presented by Nardevi Films, Koshedhunga stars Surakshya Pant, Aryan Sigdel, Reeha Sharma, Manjil Kumar, Niti Shah, Prabin Khatiwada, Hiuwala Gautam, Saroj Khanal, Bishal Pahadi, Dinesh Kafle, and Lokmani Sapkota.
