One-way traffic resumes along Karnali Highway
Landslide at Jite along Jite-Manma road section had obstructed the road.
Manma, June 30: The Karnali Highway which was blocked from early morning on Monday was opened for one-way traffic from the afternoon.
One-way vehicular movement was opened by clearing debris of landslide at Gaganekhola and Jite in Shuvakalika Rural Municipality in Kalikot district.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Tek Bahadur Rawat, of Kalikot shared that the vehicles stranded halfway after the landslides have moved to their destinations after the resumption of vehicular movement. He said works to clear the debris to widen the road are ongoing by using bulldozers. (RSS)
