By Phadindra Adhikari, Lekhnath, June 20: A Pollution test has been conducted in the city buses in the Tourism capital Pokhara on Friday morning.
On the cooperation of the District Traffic Police Office, Transport Management Office Kaski tested pollution on 21 city buses, where 50% failed to meet the standard.
Out of 21 buses, only 10 passed, whereas 11 failed the test.
Transport Management Office Kaski chief Dhaka Prasad Sharma informed that failed vehicles are told to operate only after the maintenance.
"Failed buses can operate only after the maintenance; otherwise, they cannot be allowed to operate." He told.
