Three killed, 22 injured in Saptari bus accident

By Sudha Deo, Bhardaha(Saptari), April 27: Three people were killed when a bus met with an accident at Badgama of East-West Highway in Saptari district's Kanchanpur Municipality - 10 on Sunday.

A bus with registration number Pra 1-01-001 Kha 3420 heading towards Biratnagar from Udaypur became uncontrolled, leaving three dead and 22 injured on Sunday afternoon.

One male and one female died on the spot, but their identities have yet to be ascertained. Seriously injured Ratna Bahadur Magarati,75, of Saptakoshi Municipality - 1, died during the treatment at Biratnagar's Golden Hospital.

According to Area Police Office Kanchanpur, Chief DSP Madhav Prasad Kaphle injured, is receiving treatment at local Hospitals and Biratnagar's hospital. 

The driver of Bus Jhapa's Mechinagar Municipality - 7's 47-year-old Amrit Darjee, and the bus are both in police control.
