Suren’s "Paribandha" officially released

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Apr. 27: A heartfelt music video for the song "Paribandha", featuring the voice and lyrics of the multi-talented Suren Gautam and music composed by Kalyan Singh, has been officially released on Suren Gautam’s official YouTube channel, Suren Gautam’s Music.

Renowned for his emotional depth and creative range, Suren Gautam showcases his versatility in both singing and songwriting. His soulful voice paired with moving, poetic lyrics brings the complex interplay of love, sacrifice, and responsibility vividly to life.

The video is directed by Peter Gurung, and edited by Bishnuhari Timilsina. The music is skillfully arranged by Dinesh Shrestha, with the overall project led by Suraj Shrestha.

Starring Saku Shah and Lomas Sharma, the video follows the tragic love story of Dev and Kavya—two persons who fall deeply in love during their school days. As they dream of a shared future, life's harsh realities pull them apart. Driven by financial struggles, Kavya moves abroad, while Dev stays behind to care for his ailing mother. Miscommunication leads to a painful separation. Years later, fate reunites them unexpectedly at a sacred site in Nepal. Their eyes meet, full of emotion, but words remain unspoken. 

In the end, they part ways again—haunted by what could have been. The song leaves audiences with a powerful message:

“Not all separations happen due to a lack of love; sometimes, it’s the heavy burden of responsibility that forces people apart.”
