Rupandehi, Apr.21: Three children have gone missing while swimming in the Danav River in Ardauli, Lumbini Cultural Municipality-2, Rupandehi district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Thapa, joint spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, said that the Armed Police Force was deployed to search for the missing children in the river on Monday afternoon.
The missing children have been identified as 13-year-old Umesh Yadav, 14-year-old Raj Yadav, and 12-year-old Munu Harijan. All three hail from the same place.
It is said that they went missing around 12:30 PM today while swimming in the river.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a security force trained in disaster management under the command of an Armed Police Inspector from the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Outpost Bayarghat reached the spot and mobilized to search for missing children.
