'Buddha's teaching instill peace'

Gandaki, April 19: Chief of Gandaki Province, Dilliraj Bhatta, has said Buddha's teaching is instrumental to instill peace in humankind. So, it needs promotion, he stressed.
Province Chief Bhatta said it while inaugurating a seminar on Buddhist philosophy in Pokhara today. The event was organized by the Lumbini University and the Lumbini Research Centre.
Buddha's philosophy should be spread across the globe, he said, adding that it is a moral guide for all. The activities for peace and progress based on Buddha's teaching help resolve the problems facing the present world, according to him. (RSS)
