All sides' unity must to protect democratic republic: DPM Paudel

Lumbini, April 11: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said all sides' unity is imperative to protect the federal democratic republic achieved after long struggle and sacrifice.     

He urged the people to remain aware of those who make misleading publicity against constitution. It is time to be united against such elements, DPM Paudel reminded, underlining the need of moving ahead for national development.     

Paudel, who is also the Vice Chairman of the CPN UML, said it during a public awareness assembly organized by his party in Butwal city on Friday. He claimed that UML has a plan, a vision and an able leadership to steer country towards development and prosperity.     

The Vice Chairman further said political parties are always together with people, while those near the ex-king are focused on power. "Some sections are acting against UML. So, such reactionary forces should be identified and foiled by party cadres," he stressed.     

Also speaking on the occasion, Lumbini Province In-Charge of the party, Padma Aryal, said party line needs to act as pillars of the leadership.(RSS)
