Bhaktapur, April 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has observed the induction of the parade to newly commissioned cadets of different groups of the Nepali Army.
At a programme organized at Kharipati-based Nepali Military Academy in Bhaktapur today, Prime Minister Oli said capable human resources for the national security of Nepal was the need of the hour at a time when the security atmosphere has become dynamic, multi-faceted and challenging.
He lauded the contribution of the Nepali Army to national security as well as disaster risk reduction and peacekeeping.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli rewarded cadets and officers with a khukuri for standing best during their training.
Present on the occasion were First Lady Radhika Shakya, Defence Minister Man Bir Rai, PM's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Chief of Army Staffs, Ashok Raj Sigdel, among others. (RSS)
