Excavator accident at Simichaur, Gulmi

By Toplal Aryal, Resunga, Apr.8: An excavator has met with an accident at Simichaur, Resunga Municipality, Gulmi. 

The driver, 30-year-old Yanka Bahadur Magar of Lamahi Municipality-1 of Dang district, has been injured in the accident.

Police said he is receiving treatment at District Hospital Gulmi for injuries to his head, back, and right leg.

Ganga Bahadur Saru, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Gulmi, said that an excavator met with an accident while digging the foundation of the Resunga Airport located in Simichaur, Resunga, paved road section in Resunga Municipality-10.

Indra M K JV is carrying out road construction work. 

Spokesperson Saru said that the excavator (Lu 1 Ka 5679) met with an accident after the soil suddenly submerged while digging the foundation.

Ram Bahadur Basnet, Ward Chairman of Resunga Municipality-10, said that large vehicles will not be allowed to operate for a few days due to an excavator accident on the road.
