By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 6: Afghanistan posted a target of 169 runs for Nepal in the under-19 One Day International (ODI) match at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Batting first, Afghanistan scored a total of 168 runs before being all out in the 50 overs.
Afghanistan's Mahboob Khan scored 58 runs, Roohullah Arab 27, Uzairullah Niazai 19, Nazifullah Amiri 16, Khatir Stanikzai 11 and Khalid Ahmadzai scored 10 runs. Other batsmen failed to score runs in double digits.
To limit Afghanistan within a small total Nepal's Santosh Yadav took three wickets alone.
Bipin Sharma and Cibrin Shrestha took two wickets each, whereas Abhisekh Tiwari and Aprajit Poudel took a single wicket each.
