Kathmandu, April 4: CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that special priority will be given to the prosperity of Bardiya district.
Addressing a Terai-Madhes Awakening Campaign held in Mainapokhar in the district, former Prime Minister Prachanda said that Bardiya will continue to move forward in the areas of tourism development, physical infrastructure, education, health and employment.
He further recalled that the obstructed postal highway construction bid was accelerated during his premiership.
Former Prime Minister Prachanda shared that the recommendation committees for Truth and Reconciliation and Enforced Disappeared will begin work within two months.
Chairman Prachanda mentioned that there was notable progress in the sector of social justice adding that about 1.5 million Nepali migrant workers were enlisted in the Social Security fund. (RSS)
