Godhuli Football Running Cup to start tomorrow, be held at night in Dharan

By Nisha Rai, Dharan, Mar 19: The 25^th Godhuli Football Running Cup is being held at night for the first time in Dharan Sub-metropolitan City from tomorrow.

Ward level teams in the Dharan Sub-metropolis will play in the two-week long match named as Godhuli Tasty Tasty Noodles Football Competition at the stadium in Dharan-16.

Logistics arrangement including that of flood light in the stadium to hold the games at night have been made, informed the organisers at a press meet today.

Football team representing Ward 5 and Ward 16 will play in the first match tomorrow, said Sathish KC, vice-chairman of the Godhuli Club.

The winner of the match will bag Rs. 150 thousand in cash along with the running shield while the runner up will get Rs. 75 thousand. Prizes have also been arranged for best player, high scorer, best defenders, emerging player and best goalkeeper.
