Kathmandu, March 18: The match schedule for the 2025 SAFF U-19 Championship has been unveiled.
The Championship to be organised by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) will take place on May 9-18 at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Arunachal Pradesh of India.
As per the match schedule made public today, Nepal will meet Sri-Lanka for its first match on May 11. Bhutan and Bangladesh will also compete for their first match of the Group 'A' same day.
Nepal has been listed in the Group 'B' in the Championship along with India and Sri Lanka. It will play the second match against the host India on May 13 while the next match of Group 'A' will be played between Maldives and Bhutan same day.
The Championship is to be contested by six countries in the South Asia.
Inaugural matches will be contested between Bangladesh as well as the Maldives Sri Lanka and India. (RSS)
