By Nisha Rai, Dharan, Mar.14: The building is being constructed at a cost of more than Rs 26.5 million, based on the vision of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City's Mayor Harka Raj Rai, near the memorial park of former mayor Late Tara Subba in Dharan-16.

Mayor Rai said that all languages will be taught in this multilingual school after the building is made as part of an investment of Rs 26,535, 184.

He said that this will further support the tourism sector.

He stressed that since all the construction is built with the taxpayer's money, therefore the denizens need to take an active part in its preservation.

Mayor Rai said that the aim is to further support the development of Dharan by constructing special structures in every ward of Dharan.

Sub-metropolitan City Engineer Suraj Shrestha said that the two-storey building that is being built is built using glass. It is according to the plan of the Mayor.

He said that the building is a two-story building built within a 12-meter circle.

The construction agreement has been handed over to Dipadil construction last year.

About 80 percent of construction work has been completed, aiming to complete it in 1.5 months. Then, the building will be inaugurated as well.

The 13th Municipal Assembly had passed a resolution for the construction and operation of a multilingual school in Dharan-16 to preserve various languages and scripts.

The inflow of domestic tourists has been increasing in the area where the multilingual school building is being made, as the place consists of a park, a health post, and a police station as well.
