By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar 14: Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 6 wickets in the Women's T20I Quadrangular Series at Entebbe Cricket Oval, Uganda on Friday.
Batting first, Hong Kong scored a total of 104 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in 8 wickets.
Hong Kong's Shanzeen Shahzad hit a half-century scoring 54 runs whereas Kary Chan and Yasmin Daswani scored 16 and 14 runs respectively.
To stop Hong Kong in a medium total Nepal's Rajmati Airee took three wickets alone. Similarly, Indu Barma took two wickets whereas Puja Mahato and Ishwori Bist took a single wicket each.
In response, Nepal achieved the target in 19.3 overs losing four wickets.
To secure the win Nepal's Samjhana Khadka hit 47 runs, Puja Mahato scored 20, Indu Barma 18 runs, Alisha Yadav 5, and Roma Thapa and Bindu Rawal scored 4 runs each.
Hongkong's Kaur Mahekdeep and Emma Lai took a single wicket each.
It was the last match of Nepal in the series. Nepal registered two win and four losses in the series.
