Floodlights installed at Rupandehi's Extratech Int'l Cricket Stadium

By Chhabi Lal Pandey, Butwal Feb 25: The installation of Floodlights at the Extratech Oval-International Cricket Stadium at Darakhsawa of Tilottama Municipality - 17 in Rupandehi has been completed.

With this Extratech Oval became the first cricket stadium to have floodlights where the Prime Minister Cup One Day Cricket match is scheduled to be played.

Managing Director of the Stadium Binod Kunwar said that 5 floodlights have been installed at a cost of about Rs. 70 million. 

After the installation of floodlights Cricket matches can be played in the nighttime as well. More than 100 cricket matches were played at the stadium in a year's duration.

According to Kunwar, light testing along with flash and focus-related works are underway at the stadium.
