Constituent Assembly member Sapkota passes away

Kavrepalanchowk, Feb 20: Constituent Assembly member and CPN (Unified Socialist) politburo member, Bidur Sapkota, has passed away. He was 59.    


A resident of Naubise, Mandandeupur Municipality-7, Sapkota died while undergoing treatment at the Helping Hands Community Hospital, Chabahil in Kathmandu this morning, said Tok Bahadur Waiba, a CPN (Unified Socialist) politburo member.    


Sapkota had been suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes since long and was hospitalized on February 16 due to pulmonary issues, according to Waiba. Sapkota is survived by his spouse and a daughter.(RSS)
