Kathmandu, Feb 7: The Non-Resident Ambassador of Nepal to Cambodia, Dhan Bahadur Oli, on Thursday presented his letter of credence to Norodom Sihamoni, the King of Cambodia, amidst a ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Phnom.
Following the presentation of
letter of credence, Ambassador Oli was granted an audience with the King of
Cambodia, the Embassy of Nepal in Thailand said in a press statement.
During the audience, the Ambassador
conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Ramchandra Paudel as
well as from the people of Nepal for personal good health and happiness of the
King and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Kingdom
of Cambodia.
Likewise, the King extended his
greetings and best wishes for the personal good health and happiness of
President Paudel as well as for the prosperity of Nepali people.
On the occasion, the Cambodian King
expressed his confidence that the friendly, cordial and cooperative relations
between the Nepal and Cambodia would be further strengthened during the tenure
of the Ambassador, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Thailand. (RSS)
