Chikulaya Takha: Sanyakhuna Nepalbhasha Music Video released

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 2: A music video in the Nepalbhasa, "Chikulaya Takha: Sanyakhuna," was released on Friday in Kathmandu.

The music video was unveiled in the presence of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan. The music video, composed by Chatra Raj Shakya, features the renowned singer Jujukaji Ranjit on vocal, with additional contributions from many other talented individuals. The video portrays a traditional Newari custom, where a person proposes marriage to someone during a wedding feast, with guests present as witnesses.

During the event, Mayor Maharjan expressed his commitment to continue his support in the development of Nepalbhasa literature and music.

Senior singer Ranjit, who has been active in the music industry for over six decades, highlighted the importance of passing on the responsibility for the development of Nepalbhasa music to the younger generation.
