Britain, Jan 22: A non-resident Nepali entrepreneur and social activist Sujan Katwal has been named as one among the top 100 influential persons for this year in the United Kingdom.
The Award Intelligence publishes the list of top 100 influential persons every year.
Katwal, a benevolent person raising and distributing funds to the homeless people, has contributed tremendously to the humanitarian service. He has so far provided food to over 250 thousand homeless people and walked 6,000 miles to generate funds for the mental health of the ex-Gurkhas, according to Intelligence.
He is also owner of Panas Gurkha, a restaurant in South London, UK. He has been running a charity, Combat Stress, to provide mental health service to the ex-Gurkhas.
The list includes the government officials, social workers, professors and doctors that contribute tremendously to the British society.
Born in Biratnagar city of Nepal, Katwal has been living in the UK since 1998.(RSS)
