School building constructed in Kalikot

Manma (Kalikot), Jan 20: Physical infrastructure, including a school building, has been constructed at Panchadev Secondary School in Khandachakra Municipality-1, Kalikot.   

 
The construction project, which consisted of a polytechnic school building, a hostel building and an administrative building was completed with an investment of Rs 23.52 million, according to the school's head teacher Bina Kumari Shahi.    

Head teacher Shahi mentioned that the construction was made possible with the budget from both the federal and province governments.  

  
Former Chief Minister of Karnali Province and House of Representatives (HoR) Member Mahendra Bahadur Shahi inaugurated all three buildings on Sunday.    

On the occasion, HoR Member Shahi said that no student should have to study under the open sky due to a lack of school buildings. 

   
In addition, Deputy Mayor of Khandachakra Municipality Ganesh Bahadur Shahi stated that the school has run classes in technical education to support employment and self-employment opportunities. (RSS)
