Nepal loses to Bangladesh in U-19 Women's World Cup

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 18: Bangladesh defeated Nepal by 5 wickets in the ongoing U-19 women's world Cup at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Malaysia on Saturday.

Batting first Nepal scored 52 runs before being all out in 18.2 overs. 

Nepal's Sana Praveen scored 19 runs and Seemana KC scored 10 runs whereas other batsmen weren't able to score runs in double digits.

To wrap up Nepal in a slim score Bangladesh's Jannatul Maoua took two wickets whereas Nishita Akter Nishi, Fahomida Choya and Mst Anisa Akter Soba took a single wicket each.

In response, Bangladesh achieved the target of 53 runs in Just 13.2 overs losing 5 wickets. To achieve an easy win Bangladesh's Sadia Islam hit 16 runs, Sumaiya Akter 12, Afia Ashima Era 9, Jannatul Maoua 5, Mst Sumaiya Akther Suborna 4, Juairiya Ferdous (wk) 2 and Fahomida Choya scored one run. 

Nepali bawlers Rachana Chaudhary, Riya Sharma, Seemana KC and Puja Mahato took single wickets each but couldn't defend the score.
