Mahottari, Jan 4: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has stressed the need to amend the constitution with the consensus of all.
During the meeting with party cadres at Bardibas today, Singh, also the Nepali Congress leader, reminded that the incumbent government was formed with the consensus of amending the constitution.
He pointed out the need to hold enough discussions with all parties representing in the parliament for a constitutional amendment.
DPM Singh mentioned that a stable government would contribute to steering the country towards the path of development. He argued that the present coalition will last until the next election to the House of Representatives.
He also urged the party cadres to work actively in the expansion of the party organization. (RSS)
